Cabin Trip!

This past weekend my family came up to the cabin so I went up a spent the weekend with them.  Brianna was also able to come up.  She spent the night with me in my little apartment Thursday night and got to experience the BYU-I campus Friday, so loved it (just kidding, she said she would never go here…I guess its small compared to BYU or something like that)
I had 3 test to take this weekend as well, so it was super stressful.  But I got everything done and got decent grades by friday afternoon so we headed up there!

The river was frozen enough that we were able to walk on it.

The highlight of cabin trips in the winter is being pulled around on the tube all day.  Jack loved driving the snowmobile, and I love riding the tube, it works perfect!

Island Park is seriously one of the prettiest places on this planet, it blows my mind how pretty it is.  (ps this was not edited at all)

I may have even skipped school on Tuesday to snowmobile, shh don't tell my teachers.  It was so worth it!

Winter Semester 2014

This semester is a lot harder than the last.  I guess I had a pretty easy semester last semester, but I didn't know that because I had nothing to compare it too.  I am taking 16 credits.  I have human anatomy/physiology with a lab, chemistry with a lab, public speaking, sociology, and book of mormon.  Like I said, it is hard, but I know it will be worth it.  Besides it being a lot harder, I have also already had so much fun in the 2 weeks I have been here!
I thought I would take some pictures of my room before it gets messy...jk my room is never messy, it always looks this perfect ;)

Yes One Direction did make it up on my wall and I'm not even ashamed.

Our first weekend we hosted a party.  Yes you heard me, I threw a party.  It was totally unlike us, but it was fun!
Our "We're having a party" face
Bree and I got bored one Saturday so we decided to make some decorations for the living room.  It doesn't look that hard, but it took us 3 hours to make.

 Three Best Friends
Friday night we thought we were going rock climbing, so we dressed to go rock climbing.  Turns out the rock climbing wall we closed, so we decided to go bowling.  We were a little under dressed for bowling though and got a few weird looks from people.

On Saturday me, Abby, and Tessa went skiing at Kelly's Canyon.  It is just a little place about 40 minutes from Rexburg, and it was surprisingly pretty nice!  This is where my dad learned how to ski, so it was cool to be able to be there and go on all the runs he liked as a kid.  It was such a nice day too!  The weather was perfect, sun shining all day!  It was such a fun day!

My roommate Shelby from last semester is off to Irvine California for her mission.  She is going to do amazing things and has blessed all of our lives so much!  You will be missed Shelby!

So far this semester has been full of so many adventures and I can't wait to see what else it has in store for me!  I am just hoping and praying that I can maintain my good grades with all of my hard classes.

Wait, Fall Semester is already over?

Wait, how is it already almost February?  It feels like just yesterday I was starting my first semester.  I learned so much about myself my first semester.  I had some of my hardest times and best times, but it was all worth it.  So far my college experience has been a good one!

It was so nice to be able to go home for Christmas and just relax for a few weeks.  We didn't do anything too extravagant over the break, we went skiing, saw some movies, and played lots of ping pong.  It was a great break!

Although I loved going home it was so hard to leave my roommates, especially this girl!  I had such a good semester with all of them and we made life long friends ships.  I see the other girls a lot because some of them still live here and the others live close, but Amanda lives in Wyoming so I never see her.  She has become one of my best friends and it is so weird being here without her!  (p.s. those are my clothes in the pictures, she obviously is going through withdrawals!)

It isn't Christmas unless you go sit on Santas lap...at least according to my mom.

One night over the break we met up with some family at Maddox.  It was so nice to see family we usually only see once a year!
Like I said, we played a lot of ping pong over the break.  We got a ping pong table for Christmas and someone was constantly playing it!

It was so nice to be reunited with all of my best friends back home.  It is always so sad leaving again, but I know that I am supposed to be at BYU-I.
